Wonga guarantees to send payment within 15 minutes of approval, 24/7. Such is our track record, we'll even reduce your loan repayment by £10 if we make a genuine cock-up and your money is delayed by us. We realise that when you need cash for something urgent you want it fast.   

A couple of things to bear in mind

Wonga's technology is light years ahead of other lenders, but not all banks can keep up with us. Most high street banks can handle our super fast cash transfers around the clock but, if you bank with one of the smaller ones, they may only be able to manage an hour if you're approved before 3pm on a weekday. After that time they can only process our payment for the next working morning.

Whilst over 95% of our customers use a bank that's able to receive our real-time payments, it's also important to remember that different banks take different lengths of time to show the cash in your account. So you might not always be able to see it right away, but what we can promise to do is instruct the payment to be sent before you've had time to put the kettle on!

Putting our money where our mouth is

If you feel we've not delivered our promise, please send an email to paymentquery@wonga.com and we'll investigate and respond as soon as possible during office hours. If your bank is able to process our real-time transfers and we identify a delay with instructing payment at our end, we'll reduce your loan repayment by a tenner (and promise to do better next time).
